Virtual Master Builder Incursion - The children in year 2 loved the LEGO incursion and have enjoyed remaking, being timed and racing their peers to build their tower creation. We found Imogen to be patient with the children (and teachers) and very clear in her instructions and requirements for the children.
The students loved visiting the STEM Learning Centre! It was the perfect excursion to go with our unit on Simple Machines. Lots of opportunities for trial and error and experimenting. The students had so much fun and built an understanding of Pulleys, Wheels & axles and Gears in a very hands-on way.
Learning through play offers a holistic experience that allows students to engage both sides of their brain, build a diverse skill set, and develop a love for learning that is critical for their future.
